Painting the spaces between dreams, memory and landscape.

Introduction

My paintings begin with fragments: dream journals, wild coastlines, remembered places and moments that refuse to be forgotten.

Working intuitively with paint, collage, ink and charcoal, I build and disrupt layered surfaces until something unexpected begins to emerge. Rather than illustrating dreams or landscapes, I paint the experience of moving between them.

I'm fascinated by thresholds—shorelines, caves, river crossings, hidden paths and the spaces between certainty and possibility. These places become metaphors for transformation, inviting viewers to pause, look more closely and discover their own way through.

Every painting is an act of exploration. A search for what lies just beyond the familiar.
